Dr. Richard Kops is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

He is on the staff at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset.

He is an Assistant Clinical Professor Of Medicine at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

In 1982, he was elected a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.  In 1999, he was elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians - American Society of Internal Medicine (ACP-ASIM).

Dr. Kops has served on Quality and Utilization committees at Oxford Health Plans and NylCare.
